2 dead, 1 injured after single-car crash in Hamilton County

Two people were killed and one was in serious condition following a rollover crash in Hamilton County on Thursday.

The crash took place when a 35-year-old identified as Gabriel Gonzalez, from New Mexico, was driving a 2005 BMW 745 with two other passengers on Kansas Highway 27 at about 10:51 p.m.

The BMW crossed the centerline and went off the roadway to the left and when the driver tried to overcorrect it back onto K-27, the car then went off the right side of the road and rolled over the driver’s side.

The two passengers, a 36-year-old identified as Ty Fullmer and a 26-year-old identified as Adriana Zapata-Munoz, both from Syracuse, died.

Gonzalez was taken to a hospital in Wichita in serious condition.
