Two dead after wrong-way car crash on I-15 in Utah

Two people were killed after a two-car crash after one car was reportedly driving southbound on northbound I-15 lanes in Utah.

The crash took place occurred just before 5 AM Saturday near 900 South on I-15 NB.

A report concerning a white hatchback was brought to attention by the police and it entered I-15 NB from the 600 South off-ramp and was traveling against traffic.

Just after those reports, the officials said they got the reports of a head-on crash between the hatchback and a blue FJ Cruiser.

The driver of the cruiser was unrestrained and died when crews attended the scene.

The driver of the hatchback had been using also died at the scene.

There were no passengers in both cars.

The crash is being investigated by Utah Highway Patrol.
