Two killed after car crash in Enid, Oklahoma

Two men died following a single-vehicle crash on Wednesday morning in Enid, Oklahoma.

At 1:57 a.m., officials responded to a vehicle accident at 108 E. Maine.

The vehicle had lost control, struck into the Garfield Furniture mattress store, and engulfed, according to Enid Police Department.

The driver, identified as Dalton Wade Pittser, 24, and his passenger Elijah Ray Rummel, 23, were both pronounced dead at the scene.

The 2017 Camaro was traveling westbound on Maine when it hit the center column of the East Maine bridge between 2nd and 3rd before continuing west until it struck into the building.

A video showed the vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed before it lost control and crashed into the building.

The crash is currently being investigated.
