Two were killed after a car crash on Interstate 15 in Farmington, Utah on Sunday.
The crash took place around 6 p.m. when a white Infiniti G35 hit a Utah Department of Transportation truck.
The truck was stopped on the right shoulder with its emergency stuff activated after helping occupants of the car.
The Infiniti reportedly struck the truck at a high rate of speed, according to Utah Department of Public Safety.
The female driver was pronounced dead at the scene. A 10-year-old boy was flown to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the truck was released from the hospital after having been treated for minor injuries.
Identities of the victims were not released.
