Two teenagers died after a car crash on Saturday night in Glendale, California.

A 19-year-old driver identified as Joseph Daniel Saiz was driving a Ford Mustang along Bell Road near 67th Avenue. There was an 18-year-old passenger identified as Elana Keltner Crawford in the car.

By 8:30 p.m., Saiz was speeding without headlights on Bell Road, and at that time his car was hit by another vehicle that was turning onto Grandview Road.

The crash caused Saiz’s vehicle to strike the median and two trees.

After hitting the trees, Saiz’s car kept moving into the westbound lane and was hit by another vehicle.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Crawford was admitted to the hospital but she succumbed to her injuries.

One of the other drivers was admitted to the hospital for small injuries.

Glendale Police Department said Saiz was not using a seatbelt.
