Two killed after car crash on State Highway 26 at Eureka

Two people died following a three-car crash on a Waikato highway on Tuesday.

Officials were called to the crash that took place on State Highway 26 at Eureka just before 2 pm.

Before they attended the crash site, a man who lives nearby rushed out to find a man, woman, and baby in a black vehicle.

The two-month-old identified as Soriah Harper and a 39-year-old identified as Amanda Saunders, from Silverdale in Hamilton, were killed in the crash.

The other three people were injured in the three-car crash. One was seriously injured while the other two had moderate injuries.
