Two killed after crashing stolen car in Tacoma

Two men in a stolen car were killed after a multi-vehicle crash in Tacoma, Washington on Thursday night.

The crash also injured another person.

Men were using a stolen 1999 Honda when they ran a red light at South 86th Street before 8 p.m. A vehicle in the northbound I-5 exit clipped the Honda, resulting in the car spinning and hit two other vehicles heading northbound on Hosmer, according to Tacoma Police Department.

Men in the stolen Honda were pronounced at the scene, while another person in one of the vehicles had small injuries.

The roads and ramp to I-5 were closed as police investigated the crash.
