Two killed after wrong-way head-on crash on Georgia 400

Two people died following a driver driving the wrong way on Georgia 400 and hit another driver near Roberts Drive on early Sunday morning.

The officials were notified of the crash sometime after 6 a.m. reporting a car that was heading north from Sandy Springs towards Roswell in the southbound lanes.

Officials heading south from the Holcomb Bridge Road exit discovered the head-on collision just south of the Chattahoochee River on the busy Fulton County highway.

They found two drivers having serious injuries and both of them were pronounced dead at the scene.

The two drivers were the only occupants of their vehicles.

The identities of the victims were not released.
