Two people were killed after a subway train hit them at a Manhattan station on Friday morning.

The crash took place just before 10:45 a.m., when a southbound No. 1 train pulled into the 145th Street station in Hamilton Heights and hit a man and a woman who were on the tracks at the time, according to the officials.

Both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene.

Their identities haven’t been released yet.

Officials say the victims were walking through the tunnel at the time when the train struck them.

They could have been homeless.
