Two people were killed after a car crash on U.S. 285 at Kings Valley on Thursday afternoon.
Four others were seriously injured after the crash.
A 2021 red Dodge Ram 1500 was driving southbound on U.S. 285 at about 3:40 p.m. and was passing another vehicle on a double yellow line and crashed head-on with a 2010 Ford F-150 driving northbound that was pulling a trailer.
The crash collision pushed the Ford backward from the impact.
The driver of the Ram, a 36-year-old man, and his passenger, a 68-year-old woman, were admitted to the hospital.
The driver of the Ford, a 55-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her 2-year-old female passenger died at the hospital. The other two passengers, a 35-year-old woman, and a 31-year-old man, both of Englewood, were also admitted to the hospital.
Colorado State Patrol is investigating the crash.
