Two killed, one injured after car crash on State Road 40
Two killed, one injured after car crash on State Road 40
Two women were killed and one person was injured after a two-vehicle crash on Thursday afternoon on State Road 40 East.
The two women in a Hyundai Elantra that was eastbound on SR 40 and a 19-year-old woman, behind the wheel of a Jeep Liberty, was westbound.
Hyundai drifted into the Jeep’s lane and the two vehicles crashed.
A 63-year-old and 57-year-old women were killed.
The other vehicle was driven by a 19-year-old woman from DeLand who is going through serious condition.
Florida Highway Patrol investigated the crash.
