Two people died after a car crash on state Route 57 in Elyria, Ohio on Thursday morning.
The crash occurred just south of North Abbe Road at about 11:30 a.m. when the driver of a semi-truck with a trailer lost control of the truck and crossed the median into the southbound lanes. The truck then hit a minivan, while the trailer hit two other vehicles.
The driver and passenger of the van were pronounced both died at the scene.
The drivers of the two other cars were admitted to University Hospital Elyria Medical Center.
Identities of the involved haven’t been released.
It is yet to be seen what charges will be filed.
Elyria Police is investigating the crash.
