Video: Jay Leno gets a ride in McLaren MP4-12C prototype

The MP4-12C has been unveiled already, but the work still continues on the model before it goes on sale in 2011.

Car fanatic Jay Leno is one of the luckiest man in the world. He just does not own one of the greatest car collections, he also gets to see and sometimes even drive pre-production cars. This time he got a ride in an all-new 600 horsepower McLaren MP4-12C prototype, that was still heavily camouflaged, even though everyone has seen the final shape of the car thanks to official photos.

The event took place on the Top Gear track, where just few weeks before Jay Drove the reasonably priced car for the show.
