Woman Gets Into Car Crash After Seeing a Spider in New York

An unidentified woman was driving in Cairo, New York when happened to notice a spider crawling around in the driver’s area of her car, CBS reported.

According to a statement published by the Cairo Police Department on Facebook, the woman “panicked and crashed” after seeing the spider and suffered a leg injury from the crash.

The police department shared a photo of the vehicle which showed the front of the woman’s car entirely torn apart. The post also came with a word of caution, warning drivers of the chances of this happening to them and being careful on the road.

“We know that it is easier for some drivers compared to others but PLEASE, try to teach new drivers and yourselves to overcome the fear and pull over to a safe place. Lives depend on it,” the police department wrote.

According to the post, Cairo Fire, Cairo Ambulance, Greene County Medics, and Greene County Sheriffs, everyone responded to the scene on Wednesday along with the police department.
