Audi expects a big success with the A7 Sportback

by Adrian Hayden

The new A7 coupe-styled four-door car is expected to bring new customers to the brand. In Europe, the car started selling this month but it will arrive all over the world throughout next year. This year, Audi plans to sell about 200,000 units of the A7. The car will arrive in the US next spring. The German car-maker hopes that this new model will bring new customers, as the A7 is the “next step-up from the Audi A6 segment”.

The A7 will be the first Audi model that will get a head-up display that shows the most important data on the windshield, so that the driver doesn’t have to look away from the road. The A7 will be equipped with features and gadgets that only the A8 has. For example the car will have a night vision assistant. This system will allow the driver to see ahead about 300 meters (984 feet).

Other safety systems that were only available on the A8 can now be mounted on the A7. For example, active lane assistance. When the vehicle leaves the lane, it is automatically returned to its rightful place. The A7 also allows the buyer to create w WiFi hot-spot that will enable a maximum of eight devices to get connected to the internet.
