Kia Soul Shaker UK edition imminent

Kia has made public about its decision to offer a Soul Shaker edition in the United Kingdom.

Set to compete along with Soul Quantum and Soul Inferno, the Shaker is distinguished by a Vanilla Shake or Quartz Black metallic exterior with 18-inch alloy wheels.

Interior changes are restricted, but the model comes nicely equipped with “Houndstooth” cloth seats, a sunroof and an automatically-dimming rear view mirror.
There’s also air conditioning, steering wheel-mounted controls and Bluetooth/iPod connectivity.

In the engine department two engines are available. The 1.6-liter CRD engine produces 126 bhp (94 kW) and 192 lb-ft (260 Nm) of torque, while the 1.6-liter GDI engine develops 138 bhp (103 kW) and 122 lb-ft (165 Nm) of torque. With the latter engine, the model speeds from 0-60 mph in ten seconds and has a top speed of 112 mph (180 mph).

The Soul Shaker has already been put on sale and price starts at £15,295 (OTR).
