Laraki Motors revealed its spectacular Epitome concept at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance that concluded last weekend.
A super car that will enter limited production phase comes fitted with the chassis of a Chevrolet Corvette C6 but at the same time it has received carbon fiber body panels which have lowered curb weight to around 2,800 lbs (1,270 kg).
In terms of power, the Epitome concept is fitted with a Chevy V8 7.0-liter engine with modifications that include new internals and twin turbochargers. The engine can generate an impressive output of 1,200 hp (894 kW) on pump gas.
That’s not enough, aside from the regular gas tank, there is another tank which can also accommodate 110-octane fuel and by pressing a button the car will automatically remap the ECU and will be able to run on both types of fuel. In such a case, the company claims that the output would rise to a mind boggling 1,750 hp (1,305 kW) but we don’t know how far the same is true.
The concept will be a limited edition one and there will be only 9 units that would be produced and each one would come with a starting price of whopping 2 million USD.
