Two people died and the other two were injured after a car crash on Tuesday morning in Charlotte.
Officers were notified of the crash just after 5 a.m. to the scene along Freedom Drive near Alleghany Street.
Two people were pronounced dead at the scene.
The two others were admitted to the hospital.
The status of their injuries was not known.
Officials are investigating the crash.
The lanes of Freedom Drive were closed between Alleghany Street and Camp Greene Street.
