Two people were killed after a car crash on Thursday in Brenham, Texas.

It was around 7 a.m. to the 1800 block of Highway 105 when the two-vehicle crash was reported.

The officials found a two-door pickup truck and a four-door passenger car were involved in the crash.

Officials believe that the driver of the truck crossed over into the opposite lane of traffic, which resulted in a head-on crash.

The car driver, a 58-year-old identified as Jacqueline Smith of Brenham, was flown to hospital but soon succumbed to injuries.
