Two people have been responsible for converting a 2010 Corvette Grand Sport into a Redline HTR-GS640/SC. In its expanded form the new or tuned car would be named the “Howard Tanner Redline – Grand Sport 640hp Super Charged. The tuners in this case have been Howard Tanner from Redline Motorsports and Dan Carlton from DeNooyer Performance and their work has been the mark of a genius. The original car was a 3LT package with cyber gray metallic exterior and red interior which has been converted thus.
The Corvette has come with a removable roof panel and wheels of competition grey aluminum. The car also had two tone seats a NAV system was inbuilt and the full width spoiler. DeNooyer added some custom stripes to this car which took the price of the car up to $64,000. With this as the base model now, Edelbrock E-Force blower, a new cam, heavy valve springs, chromemoly pushrods, titanium retainers and heavy-duty keepers, a set of Borla stainless mufflers, and an MGW short-throw shifter were added. The performance rose to 640 hp at the front and 566 hp at the rear. The standard was just 436 hp.
The price for the tuned product is $82,000 which is a bargain price on offer by DeNooyer. There is even the additional 3 year / 36,000 mile warranty that comes along with the price. This would give the owner to have a car that has the same performance statistics as any ZR1 in the market though at a much cheaper price.
