Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with the Toyota Avalon, that said, there is nothing right about it either. The car is supposed to be a step above the Camry and Corolla models and just a step under the entry level Lexus ES.
However, this doesn’t seem to make sense as the Avalon retails for about the same as the ES and more so the bold new redesign the company is chatting about doesn’t seem to be coming across. The newly redesigned Avalon seems to have most of the things as it did before. The 24-valve 3.5-liter V6 is back as well as the 268 horses it pumps out at 6200 rpm. The 20 mpg city and 29 mpg highway are back and it’s said to land in dealers this spring. Check out photos after the break.
