Whenever the world “Elegance” comes to the minds of car enthusiasts, a flashlight featuring a Bentley is sure to magnify their imagination. Now, every car designer thinks that they could have made a better design than the one stands in front of them. But, whenever a Bentley makes an appearance, a very few are left with alternatives. It is here where Prior Design has done a wonderful job of tackling the challenge which the Bentley offered, thus, giving us an impressive result to admire.That they have already done a good job with other top of the line cars such as the BMW M5 F10 and the Mercedes E-Class Coupe further adds weight to their attempt on the Bentley convertible.
The aerodynamics package for the car includes a brand new front bumper with integrated carbon fiber bottom lip which considerably reduces the updraft at the front axle. The hood of the Bentley received two new air-inlets while other features of the package include a large sports grille with two air outlets on the top, a set of traditional side sills along with new bumpers with integrated diffusers and a stainless steel sports exhaust system at the rear. As for the interiors, its both wooden and exclusive carbon fiber inserts that has been used to add to the elegance and charm of the Bentley interiors.
The engine of the 2011 Bentley Continental GT Cabriolet however remains unchanged. So there is still the same 6 liter W12 engine under the hood which provides an output of 567 horsepower and a peak torque of 516 lbs / ft. This hardware allows the car to run from 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds and gives it a maximum speed of 198 mph.
