A special edition of its most popular sports car has been revealed by BMW North America. The model – 2011 Frozen Black Edition M3 Coupe is however limited to just 20 units. The exterior paint goes with the name of the model and is Frozen Black while the interior is done up in Novillo Leather with unique red contrast stitching. The wheels are M3 GTS and black in color while calipers are red, all of which blends very well with the black exterior trim elements.

Price for each of the 2011 Frozen Black Edition M3 Coupe has been fixed at $79,650. Booking is going to open for the first nineteen units though it will first be on offer for Bmw M M enthusiasts. To place their orders, the Bmw M M enthusiasts may call 1-800-245-4269 only after 11:30AM Eastern Time (8:30AM Pacific) on Thursday, June 16, 2011.

As for the 20th unit of the Frozen Black Edition M3 Coupe, BMW would be holding on to it only to be sold sometime at a later date. Powering the car is the same 4 liter M V8 engine capable of churning out , 414 horsepower. For transmission the car has the firm’s M Double Clutch Transmission (M DCT). About the car’s on-road capabilities, the 2011 Frozen Black Edition M3 Coupe can reach the 60 mph speed from rest in 4.5 seconds flat while top speed of the car is 155 mph.
