2011 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Carbon Limited Edition to debut next year

Chevrolet has come up with a special Carbon limited edition model of Corvette Z06. Only 500 units of this magnificent car will be produced according to the company. The car is all set to hit the showrooms this summer.

Now, what separates the limited edition of the car from the original? The brand new edition of the car has Brembo carbon ceramic brakes flanked by specific dark gray metallic calipers and a black set of 20-spoke 19-inch front/20-inch rear wheels. Now this is about the mechanisms of the car. The exteriors have taken quite a revolutionary change, with black head lights and mirrors, black carbon fiber rockers; carbon fiber raised hood, a black carbon splitter and body colored door handles. All these are bound to give the car a sleek look. Unfortunately the company has come up with only two colors for this limited edition, namely Inferno Orange and the brand new Supersonic Blue color.

The interiors of the car are enviable too with blue or orange seat stitching, a sill plate, logoed headrest and a unique steering wheel emblem as well.

According to company sources, the special edition Corvette Z06 Carbon will be produced from the first quarter, next year and is tipped to hit the showrooms with a pinching price of $90,960 for the basic model.
