The 2011 Dodge Challenger at NADA Guides has revealed the pricing for the modernized version of the car. The car goes with a 6.4-liter HEMI in the SRT8 version along with other versions of SRT vehicles. The early post on the details of the new powerful car with the bigger engine does not state the relevant details about the engine power explicitly.
The new 6.4-liter HEMI generates enough power ranging from 480-500+ horsepower to create a significant bump in power, that however is limited only by its application. To your surprise you would find the price of the range-topping trimming down to $43,100 from the 2010’s current $43,680. Rest of the other models in the SRT series however, have significant price rises. The reasons behind this difference in the prices are however not yet known.
It could be guessed that additional features, a raised base spec, or a simple production costs might have caused the rise in prices. However, you will have to wait for the official release to come.
A new edition known as R/T Classic is appended to the series. The R/T edition would be priced the same as the standard 2011 R/T at $32,770. This is the hike against the old price in the 2010 i.e. $31,610. The base model of the car i.e. V-6 car now starts at $25,305 as against the last price of $23,695. The SE version of the car is dropped off form the series.
