2011 Maserati GranTurismo Draken from SR Project

by Alex

SR Project has decided upon a strong collaboration with the Ferrari Maserati of Vancouver in order to come up with a special Gran Cabrio especially for the Vancouver International Auto Show to be held in the year of 2011. The entire newbie is christened as “Draken” with the inclusion of upgrades on the exterior front, improvement in the areas of suspension and a fresh set of wheels.

The tuning package that the above mentioned collaboration has yielded comes with a bit of edge over the already existing classy ride. The outer skin is at the receiving point of a new MC Sportline Aero front lip and a new set of wheels, Monotec T-03 that comes with the diametric dimensions of 21 inches of the front wheels and 22 inches of the hind ones. The external facet is given a smooth white hue to it while the wheels get the aggressive matte finish black color, a tone higher than the prevalent. The wheels evolve with a combination of a fresh set of formula Dynamics Lowering Springs. The leather on the inner side is red that not only adds the finishing touch to the look of the Gran Cabrio but gives it a different level of hue.

There was no alteration made to the prevalent 4.7 liter V8 giant hummer placed under the hood of the Gran Cabrio. The standard lethal combination of 433 HP at 7000rpm and 362 lb-ft of torque is more than enough for any interested candidate. All kudos to the high reviving V8, the Gran Cabrio is able to run from o to 60 mph in a span of around 5 seconds and can continue up to a terrific 180 mph top speed.
