Mercedes announced that the new 2012 Mercedes SLK55 AMG will be revealed in September at the Frankfurt motor show, which means we can expect the new car in showrooms by early next year–at the latest. Still if you’re not patient enough, now you have an alternative because the Bottrop-based tuner, Brabus, unveiled its thorough tuning package.
The tuner has come up with a stylish and elegant body kit for the SLK R172 (models without Sport pack). This kit include a front spoiler lip, side skirts, rear apron with new diffusers in different designs, boot lid wing, and new tailpipes. Of course, there’s also lots of Brabus badges for showing off.
Brabus gives you many otions for the wheels, offering Mono block VI double spoke Design wheels, Mono block A six-spoke Design, Mono block S double spoke Design, Mono block E 9 and the last but not the least, F and Q series. Also you can choose from a varity of sizes, these being available in 18, 19 and 20-inch size. The kit also comes with sport springs for the suspension system.
At the interior, Brabus offers stylish leather upholstery and aluminum trims in matte finish. The interior also include aluminum pedals and steel door sills and floor mats with Brabus logo. The tuner can also provide carbon fiber or wood trims upon request. Beside all these sport shift knob and steering wheels are also available.
Such a beauty need some power so Brabus included in their engine tuning program ECO PowerXtra cgi B20 for SLK200 which adds 26 hp, and PowerXtra cgi B20 S with an extra 41 hp. The ALK250 CGI gets ECO PowerXtra cgi B25 with 26 hp gainand PowerXtra cgi B25 S providing an extra 36 hp.
