The 2011 GMC Terrain appears to have hit the market in the correct manner for its sales figures are double that of any of the other cars in its segment.
The car took just 12 days to turn on dealer lots which have taken 28 days for the other cars in the compact SUV segment. The number of days in case of all other cars is 51 for this feat. It has also been established that the 2011 GMC Terrain has caught the women’s fad more than any other GMC product. As per GMC the number of woman buyers is 46 percent and they have given 20 percent points higher than the overall brand. The Terrain has a fuel economy of 32 miles per gallon and has a lot many safety features integrated into the cars systems. The features like rear-vision camera, USB connectivity, electronic child safety locks, six standard air bags, electronic stability control and the safety and security of OnStar are worth a mention. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has named this car the 2010 Top Safety Pick.
