2012 Audi RS5 Facelift Unveiled at 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show: Live Photos and Specs

The German brand Audi decided to revive the looks of the Audi RS5 Coupé for the 2012 model year. The facelifted model was presented at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show and we can show you the very first live photos from the event.

The 2012 Audi RS5 Coupé gets its power from a normally aspirated 4.2-lite V8 engine, delivering 450hp at 8,250rpm, with peak torque of 430Nm available between 4,000 and 6,000rpm. It is hand-built at the plant in Györ, Hungary and each one will reach 100km/h in just 4.6 seconds.

The facelifted version is 23 millimeters longer and six millimeters wider than the A5 Coupé. It sits six millimeters lower. features anthracite gray honeycomb structure, matte aluminum-look frame and a new single-frame grille with beveled upper corners and a high-gloss. As standard, it comes fitted with Xenon plus headlights and framed by narrow strips of LED daytime running lights. The manufacturer offers this car with two oval exhaust pipes, while you can choose as an option a sport exhaust system.

For the exterior eight exterior colors are available, from solid, metallic and pearl effect finishes to specially pigmented crystal effect paint.

The interior comes as standard with sport seats covered in a combination of black leather and Alcantara, while bucket seats are available as well as climate-controlled comfort seats with a ventilation function.
