Today, during testing in the European Alps, the Audi S8 has finally showed its real face. Here you can see the first photos showing the new S8 in all its uncamouflaged glory.
The new S8 comes with a front bumper which is looking more sporty then the standard A8, but still elegant. In this class of cars understatement is everything, even if there should be changes just so your colleagues and neighbors spot the difference and see you have more power and money.
The luxury limo, with the V10 engine from the old S8 sent to retirement, will get a twin-turbo 4.0 liter V8 that not just deliver more power, our info is talking about 500 horsepower, but also is about 20 percent more fuel efficient. The same twin-turbo V8 will also be found under the hood of the upcoming Audi S6 and S7 as well as in the entry level version of the Bentley Continental GT.
Of course, more power usually means higher speed, and therefore the S8 has bigger brakes than the standard A8 just to be sure that the S8 stops where you want. Beside this, like all other S-cars from Audi, the S8 of course has 4 chromed exhaust pipes at the back.

Nice car but looks pretty much the same as any other sedan on the market…
