Audi has launched their latest Concept car, named Crosslane Coupe, at the the Paris Motor Show which is going on Live right now. This concept from Audi is believed to be an actual preview of the Q2 crossover.
Well lets take a look at the car which is said to have Advanced Hybrid Powertrain and the new designs and much more.
The Audi Crosslane Coupe Concept, is plug in hybrid with a three cylinder 1.5 litre of TFSi engine and two electric motors, which lead them just to burn, 1.1/100km, delievering 255 mpg UK / 213.8 mpg US, with CO2 emissions at 26 g/km. The engine figures stands out like this, it is powered by 177Hp (130 kW) engine and this helps the Audi Crosslane to make a run from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 8.6 seconds in hybrid mode and in 9.8 seconds in all electric mode, before reaching a top speed of 182 km/h (113 mph). The maximum electric range provided by the powertrain is 86 km (53.4 miles), and the Concept Car weighs at 3,064 lbs (1,390 kg) which gets a 17.4 kWh lithium-ion battery. Audi says that the model can be driven in all electric mode, and can speed upto 130 km/h (80.7 mph).
So the all new Audi Crosslane Coupe, is 2+2 coupe, with less space inside the car, the car stands out at 4.21 meters long (13.81 ft), 1.88 meters wide (6.17 ft) and 1.51 meters high (4.95 ft).
About the stlye, Audi’s famous Grille is Predominant in this concept, whereas the shape of the headlights and pillars suggest a new version which previews the old design cue.
The highlight of this car is “The Moveabale Trunk” which actually forms a different aseparate pan within the structure, and the other highlight is the removable hard top, lets just wait and watch whether these models will be even actually available when the final production is carried out.
