The debut of the 2012 Porsche 911 is coming quickly, considering that we are just weeks away from the official unveiling at 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, next month. However it seems that although earlier last week we saw the first leaked images of the new 911, this hasn’t stopped the Porsche PR team from deciding to tease us with two videos of the latest iteration of this legendary sports car.
You might ask what is the purpose of these videos, once the images have already seen? Well, at least we have a unique opportunity to see a Porsche 911 test mule drifting in the snow.
Below you can see the first video which is nothing more than a teaser. However. with the soundtrack set to that of the flat six engine, you see glimpses of the new 911 blazing through the canyons and woods. The teaser ends with the words: “The new 911. Porsche identity.”
On the other hand, the second video, much more interesting, shows Porsche engineers cold-weather-testing the new 911.
Prices will probably be slightly bigger comparing with the current models prices, which are around $80,000.
