AC Schnitzer Automobile is a third party tuning company based in Aachen, Germany which specializes in BMW and MINI cars, as well as BMW motorcycles too.
This firm was founded in 1967, the firm has common roots with Schnitzer Motorsport, but is a completely independent in concern of both commercially and legally. AC Schnitzer is part of the Kohl Group, which also counts Steinmetz as one of its associates.
Now the tuning company has took its wraps off the new BMW 3 series Touring, which is more spacious than the regular model, where the the boot has increased to 35 liters, a larger wheel base, and a higher roof.
The performance of the car has been increased, where the the regular 143 HP has been upgraded, and that now results in 171 HP, whereas the 320d produces 218 HP, up from 184 HP, and the 328i delivers 294 HP, up from 245,finally the 335i pushes 360 HP, up from 306 HP.
For a close and comfortable drive on the 3 Series Touring, a suspension kit has been tuned, which lowers the setting of the suspension to 25 millimeters. Taking a look at the front we see that there is a new set of front grille, a front spoiler, a rear roof spoiler, and a rear skirt side.
Inside the BMW 3 Series Touring, we get to see that there is an BLACK LINE aluminum cover for the “i-Driver system”, a BLACK LINE handbrake handle, a gear knob with digital display or a leather gear knob, adding to the list of upgrades are the aluminum pedals, foot rest and venlours floor mats.
The BMW 3 Series Touring features different sets of wheels which are:
1. Type VIII BiColor rims in Black or Silver in 18 Inch, 19 Inch and 20 Inch.
2. Type IV BiColor wheels two-tone rims in 18 Inch, 19 Inch and 20 Inch.
3. Type IV silver in 18 Inch or 19 Inch or Type VI BiColor rims in 18 Inch.
A warranty offered in the new BMW 3 Series from AC Schnitzer is up to 100,000 km, other than the BMW warranty.
