2013 BMW 7-Series Facelift: Latest Spy Shots

Being a true pioneer, the 7-Series, whose design language influenced all the others that followed it, truly deserves a facelift.

The latest spy photos shows the new, facelifted 7-Series relatively unchanged. That’s probably because most of the changes will take place especially under the bonnet. At a glance this car seems to be unchanged, but the small changes to the exterior will include new LED accents wherever possible. This way, the indicators will take on the form of an LED bar, and the German brand will also offer, as an extra option, a new LED headlight.

Beside this, the new model will come with some new cosmetic changes, which include restyled bumpers, front and back, and a new spoiler.

So far we don’t have the official specs, but the 740i will surely make use of the twin-turbocharged engine from, but power may be bumped to around 350 hp, while the 750i should have about 450 horsepower from a 4.4-liter V8 petrol engine that makes use of BMW’s TwinPower Turbo technology with two turbochargers and high-precision direct injection.

Accoridng to Autoevolution, the 2013 BMW 7-Series facelift will most likely debut at the 2012 Beijing Auto Show in April, while also staring in New York. The Chinese and American markets are becoming the mainstay for big luxury four-doors, so BMW will surely cater to their every whim.
