Its the American Muscle who knows to steal the Limelight, yes its Ford!
Ford launched their 2013 Mondeo in 2 variants, 1. Mondeo Sedan and 2. The Mondeo Wagon.
The new Ford Mondeo looks very similar in size to the outgoing model, it comes at 4.8m long and with a 2.850mm wheelbase.
Ford is keeping mum on the engine specifications, but the 1.6L and the 2.0L TDCi diesel units, along with the 1.0L EcoBoost and the 2.0L EcoBoost are known to make their way into the lineup. The common transmission to be used on the new Ford Mondeo will be a six-speed manual, whereas a six-speed dual clutch Powershift will also be available, but sadly as an option.
The new Ford Mondeo also has a new chassis with a new integral link suspension that Ford says will improve rider comfort and reduce cabin noises, especially for rear passengers and electronic power steering optimized for handling and driving dynamics.
The interior of the new Ford Mondeo is believed to be borrowed from the Ford Fusion, which has high quality materials and a quality design. Different Options include multi-contour seats, MyFord Touch and a WiFi hotspot that supports up to five devices. The new model can also be equipped with an Advanced Active Park Assist system which enables the car to automatically parallel and perpendicular itself to park.
