Jaguar has made an announcement recently that Jaguar XJR is expected to be launched in the upcoming 2013 New York Auto Show. Jaguar XJR is a more powerful and hardcore version of the Jaguar XJ Supersport.
The car is expected to have turbocharged V8 engine having an increased performance output of 550 hp instead of 5.0 liter turbocharged engine with output capacity of 510hp.
Jaguar XJR will also have other improvements such as better steering capabilities, braking system, different bumpers, side skirts and bigger and better wheels.
Adrian Hallmark, Global Brand Director of Jaguar, stated that the new car epitomizes the three pillars of technology, performance and contemporary design which is synonym for the Jaguar brand in the 21st century.
The announcement is surely going to generate a lot of excitement and hype among the car lovers and experts. But we will have to wait for the car to be relaunched which will happen in the coming week.
