Lexus GS 350 F Sport is going to make its motorsport debut this weekend at the annual Muscle Car Masters at Sydney Motorsport Park. The Lexus will take its part as the permanent safety car, and will be on hand for all motorsport and driver training activities.

Set to make its inaugural duties at the Muscle Car Masters at Sydney Motorsport Park, the GS 350 F Sport Safety Car will, from here on out, serve as the series’ official safety car. To serve in its new official capacity, the GS 350 Sport Safety Car was fitted with all standard equipment befitting its function.

The GS 350 is powered by a 3.5-litre V6 which generates 233 kilowatts of power. The equivalent of this number in horsepower is exactly 317. Thus it is effortless for this model to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6 seconds.

F Sport GS models include exclusive interior and exterior styling, along with an aggressive sports body. Under the skin, F Sport models are also equipped with Lexus Dynamic Handling System (LDHS) which features Dynamic Rear Steering (DRS), Adaptive variable Suspension (AVS) and a larger two-piece front rotor and four piston calliper brake package.

The 2012 Muscle Car Masters will be held on September 1 and 2 at Sydney Motorsport Park – Eastern Creek. Tickets and further information are available from www.musclecarmasters.com.au.
