2013 Lexus RX Exterior

The cabin is based on Lexus’ L-finesse philosophy, and separates the interior in two parts: the “display zone”, that provides information to the driver, and the “operation zone” used to interact with controls. The seats are comfortable and supportive. The interior also comes with sculpted metallic surfaces, and an asymmetrical center stack, a bold approach from the designers.

The multi-information display is a high contrast white Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED), and is located next to the speedometer. This gives the cabin a luxurious look, thanks to its high-quality, high-contrast images.

There’s also an Eco driving indicator zone that displays the current fuel consumption, and alarms the driver when the car is low on fuel.

Lexus engineers placed a few features close to the driver, including the multi-information switch, the Remote Touch navigation control that is mounted on the console, and the Heads-Up Display (HUD). The HUD consists of high-intensity LEDs and projects high-contrast numbers, such as speed, navigation, and information about the current track or radio station on the windshield.

As you would expect in a crossover, the interior is very spacious, as is the cargo space. There is plenty of leg, shoulder and hip room for both front and rear passengers.
