The very well known company, Maserati has launched the new Gran Turismo MC GT3 at the Fiat Industrial Village Motorfest in Turin, winning the 1st race at the previous Superstars GT Sprint at Italian Autodromo Di Vallelunga with driver Alessandro Pier Guidi, and this time it seems that the Italian Automaker are looking forward to win another competition at the Superstar GT race at Pergusa.
Under the hood of the new Maserati GT, one can get to see a aspirated V8 engine featuring four-valve technology and wet sump lubrication, which delivers 495hp of power at 7,500rpm and a max torque of 510Nm at 4,750rpm. And this engine is coupled to a Sadev six-speed sequential dog gearbox with oil cooling, and the Electronic Throttle Actuation System and Motec Engine Electronic Management all ensure the efficiency of the engine.
This new car tips the weigh scale at just 1200kg, which comes with welded roll-over cage and carbon fiber kevlar add on parts, the The closed flat bottom comes with a rear diffuser and a rear adjustable wing with gurnay flap, and the carbon fiber continues to feature on the door, roof, front, and rear bonnet, it also has a six-point safety harness adapted for use with HANS, and wheels in casted Magnesium. The suspension features double wishbones which uses an integrated camber adjustment, coil spring and adjustable antiroll bar, adjustable four-way Ohlins dampers, spring platform for ride height adjustment.
Now only five days are left for the Superstars GT, Pergusa, and Maserati seems to be ready to race along this track, which has been non-functional since 2004, after losing its license.
