Maserati is showcasing the updated GranTurismo MC Stradale at the Geneva Motor Show.
The altered model has borrowed the engine from the GranTurismo Sport, a car which was displayed at last year’s edition. This is a 4.7-liter V8 engine emitting 460 HP (338 kW) and 520 Nm (383 lb-ft). It is attached to a 6-speed robotized manual MC Race Shift transmission which allows the high-performance coupe to reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.5 seconds before reaching 188 mph (303 km/h).
The car can be stopped using the Brembo ceramic brake discs, while the restyled lid is made from carbon fiber and has a a central air intake. The car sits on 20-inch forged alloy wheels with Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires and sports dual exhaust pipes at the back. Even though it has two extra seats, the 2013 GranTurismo MC Stradale has the same weight as its two-door counterpart which weighs around 1,700 kg (3,747 lbs).
So Geneva is the stop for the Gran Turismo where it will dazzle the audience. Stay tuned for further updates and for the time being enjoy the pictures.
