2013 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series Priced

Mercedes-Benz has finally announced that 2013 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series, which was launched last year in 2012, will be available for sale starting June 2013. They also announced that the car would have a price tag of € 249,000 in Germany.

The price is significantly higher over the existing Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG which costs € 180,000. However, the features and the look of the Black Series are such that the premium seems to be justified and there is no reason why one would not pay this additional amount to get this car.

The car has 6.2 liter V8 engine which has output capacity of 622 hp and 468 lb-ft of torque. The car can accelerate to 100 kmph in mere 3.6 seconds and has a highest speed of 315 kmph. The car is street legal version of SLS AMG GT3 with features such as aggressive body panels, new bumpers, side skirts, diffuser and fixed wing at the rear and wider wheel base.
