2013 MotoGP: Yamaha Shows the M1 Bikes at Jerez

Yamaha has recently revealed their 2013 YZR-M1 at Jerez, just before the last official test of the pre-season.

The reigning champion Jorge Lorenzo will be accompanied by legendary Valentino Rossi in 2013 season who has just returned to the team he loved so much after a leave of 2 years which he spent aboard Ducati factory team’s bikes. This will surely bring lots of excitement in the MotoGP series.

Yamaha won the Teams’ and Constructors’ titles way back in 2010 and now the company is hoping to do something similar this year as stated by Lin Jarvis, the Managing Director of Yamaha Motor Racing SRL. The company has also got a new slogan for this year which is “Revs Your Heart”.

The Jerez test is scheduled to take place on March 23-25. The test is the final indicator of how the 2013 season will start, and will now, the Honda’s Pedrosa and Marquez have been consistently faster than the Yamaha riders.
