2013 Renault Megane Estate GT 220 special edition announced

The French based automaker, Renault has introduced the Megane Estate GT 220, ahead of its launch later this month.

The new Megane has been designed to combine sport with practicality, and this special edition features a unique exterior with body-color door handles, gloss black accents and 18-inch Serdard-style wheels. Inside the car,changes include a steel gear knob and outside an individually-numbered “GT 220” plate. As for the suspension, the model has been equipped with a sport-tuned suspension, a revised power steering system, beefy brakes and high-performance tires. The Megane Estate GT 220 will be offered in 11 European markets as well as Japan.

Under the hood, it houses a a turbocharged 2.0-liter petrol engine that develops 220 HP (162 kW) and 340 Nm (251 lb-ft) of torque. And the fuel efficiency numbers are like this, 7.3 L/100km (32.2 mpg US / 38.6 mpg UK) and the vehicle emmits CO2 of 169 g/km.
