Seat Motors the Spanish Automaker has launched the Ibiza Cupra, which was first shown at Beijing international Automotive Exhibition. The stunning design of the car and the best class performance would leave any customer spell bound! This car is completely versatile, and that makes the Ibiza CUPRA an extremely compelling day-to-day performance car.
The CUPRA name was born way back in the year 1996 as because of a special, top-of-the-line Ibiza was built to commemorate SEAT’s World Rally Championship victory in the 2.0-litre category, and Since then a CUPRA has always featured in the SEAT model line-up, with the name adorning both the Ibiza and Leon ranges.

The New Seat Ibiza CUPRA features 1.4-litre TSI petrol engine that develops 180 PS and 250 Nm, featuring to a turbocharger and a supercharger as well as direct injection, this whole setup is mated to a seven-speed DSG twin-clutch automatic transmission, and with its extremely short shift times, can be operated via paddles mounted behind the steering wheel and with such an TSI unit the Seat Ibiza CUPRA can do 0-62mph sprint in just 6.9 seconds and a top speed of 142 mph, yet it is also exceptionally efficient, with average fuel consumption of 47.9 mpg. The TSI unit is a compact piece of high-tech equipment which has been designed to be used as a day-to-day driving vehicle, and while a unique sound actuator in the exhaust system allows for an extra sporty sound. And as for the chassis of the Ibiza CUPRA, it comes with maximum agility and precision, an optional AP Performance braking system is available, An XDS electronic differential lock,and an ESP electronic stability system incorporating hill start is part of the safety package that comes as standard on the Ibiza CUPRA, and with all of this the car has been awarded the maximum five stars in the Euro NCAP crash test.

On the outside of the new Seat Ibiza CUPRA, the design of the car clearly states the dynamism of the car with a solid and powerful stance. The car features a new set of broad grille and very forceful air intakes, and the sophisticated design of the front headlamps shows the attention to detail inherent with SEAT workmanship. The Seat’s Edgy lines features the Standard Bi-Xenon headlamps, with fog lamps, and also LED day time running lights. the car rides on a 17-inch wheels.
Inside the Seat CUPRA one gets a class apart luxury, with the CUPRA featuring unique sports seats with optional two-colour leather upholstery, clearly structured cockpit, the ergonomic excellence and the precision of the workmanship all underscore SEAT’s dedication to detail, and with new sports steering wheel featuring the CUPRA logo, and the shift paddles for the DSG transmission are within easy reach of the driver’s fingertips.
Infotainment covers the high-performance audio system which gets enhanced by the innovative SEAT Portable System, and it’s extensive functions include a navigation system, Bluetooth audio streaming, a Micro SD card slot for music storage, hands-free phone system with voice control, and an on-board computer. Additionally, there is this ‘photoframe’ facility allowing users to personalize their system with images, while a useful ‘notepad’ function allows occupants to set handy reminders, and the screen can act as a torch for users when they leave the car at night.
Some standard features covered in the new Seat’s Ibiza CUPRA are like this: Climate control, rain-sensing automatic windscreen wipers, bi-xenon headlamps, LED daytime running lights, and 17-inch alloy wheels are standard fit, as well as the aforementioned CUPRA styling and performance-enhancing accoutrements, including signature gloss black mirrors, CUPRA front and rear bumpers, matte black rear diffuser incorporating a large trapezoidal central tailpipe, and a pair of unique front sports seats.
The new Seat Ibiza is all set to arrive in the markets of UK by January 2013, while bookings are open for all from next week onwards, and the price for the new Seat Ibiza CUPRA is
