2013 Skoda Octavia RS revealed in Blue

Couple of months after Skoda mistakenly disclosed 2013 Octavia RS with low grade images, a new high-resolution image of the car has been found online.

This time painted in blue, the reveals new exterior details, like, a new front bumper, additional LED fog lights and tinted headlights. One can see a larger spoiler on the trunk compared to the one seen on the low-resolution car configuration.
The most pointable difference between the older white car and the one painted in blue is the black painted wheels.

As a result no engine specifications have been made public so far, but we can assume that the 2013 Octavia RS might come with a new 2.0-litre TFSI with about 220 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. A 2.0-liter diesel unit might be also accompany it, producing about 190 hp.

The new Octavia RS is likely to be revealed in the second quarter of 2013, at the forthcoming Frankfurt Auto Show.
