2014 Maserati Ghibli to be unveiled at Shanghai

by SpeedLux

Maserati‘s latest car for 2014, the Ghibli sedan, will be revealed at the Shanghai Auto Show in April.

It has been designed and built to take on the BMW 5 Series and the Mercedes-Benz E Class. The Ghibli will share its technology, including the twin-turbo V6 and V8 engines, with the recently launched Maserati Quattroporte. The Ghibli will actually be more of a four-door coupe according to sources.

Production for the Ghibli will take place in Italy where the Quattroporte is being built.

The Ghibli is more of a rich man’s car rather than for the middle class people due to its price tag. It is more of a executive type car.
It is a dynamic concept and it will compete with the likes of Mercedes-Benz E class and BMW 5 Series. This shows that it is not a ordinary sedan and will give its rival a run for their money.

The price tag for the Maserati Ghibli is expected to hover around $75000. Take a close look at the pictures and stay tuned on for more updates.
