by SpeedLux

Japanese well-known carmaker Toyota has recently unveiled the GT 86 Cup Edition, a special version of the company’s already popular rear-wheel-drive sportscar.

The car will have only 86 units being produced and the main purpose of launching this car was to celebrate the start of the Toyota GT 86 Cup. The Cup is a one-make racing series held in Europe, and, therefore, the car will not be available on any other markets outside European markets.

However, in terms of performance, the GT 86 Cup Edition is same as the existing ordinary GT 86 vehicle, with 2.0-liter four-cylinder boxer engine with output capacity of 200 hp.

There are some customization options for the customers such as better performance engine by paying an additional €2,680. The car features OZ Racing 18-inch light alloy wheels covered with Pirelli Zero Nero GT tires.

In the interiors, the sports car gets a sports steering wheel trimmed in Alcantara, red stitching, Cup Edition labeled dashboard and a brushed aluminum made numbered plaque.
