We earlier hinted about the 2014 Acura MDX launch in Detroit and the SUV is on the floors now.
The 2014 Acura MDX, unveiled at the Detroit Motor Show 2013, is a seven seater SUV and is expected to offer high fuel efficiency.

The exterior of 2014 Acura MDX offers a much more streamlined design. It is shorter in length compared to the traditional Acura MDX. Its exteriors offer enhanced aerodynamic features which increases the efficiency of the vehicle by almost 16% compared to its predecessor. The front and rear suspension have also been redesigned and a much larger wheelbase has been provided.

The new 2014 Acura MDX is powered by a 3.5 litre V6 engine. It improves the efficiency of the vehicle with its new technology called Variable Cylinder Management technology. It automatically adjusts the number of cylinders that are functioning compared to the power required.

The interiors had not been revealed at the show but Acura suggested that its interior will offer superior comfort along with an elegant design.

The SUV comes with AcuraLink Cloud based system which offers infotainment and security solutions. This is an advanced technology that has been introduced for the first time by Acura.

The new 2014 Acura MDX SUV launch date is expected in the later half of 2013.
