2014 Alfa Romeo 4C Launch Edition launched

by SpeedLux

Alfa Romeo has finally delivered the first 4C Launch Editions at a special ceremony recently held at the Balocco Test Center in Italy.

The customers who were lucky to get the 4C came from across Europe – Switzerland, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Italy, and were also treated to an exclusive driving experience with Alfa Romeo test drivers and 1993 DTM champion Nicola Larini.

As reported earlier, the 4C Launch Edition is available exclusively in Alfa Red or Carrara White exterior paint and comes equipped with features that include a carbon fiber body kit, Bi-LED headlights and 18- / 19-inch wheels with a dark finish. In the interiors, the model comes equipped with leather / microfiber sport seats, an individually-numbered plaque and red contrast stitching on models with an Alfa Red exterior.

Just like the standard model, the Launch Edition also comes equipped with a 1.75-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 240 HP (176 kW) and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm) of torque. This enables the car to achieve the 0-100 kmph (0-62 mph) sprint in 4.5 seconds and will be able to hit a top speed in excess of 250 kmph (155 mph).
