2014 BMW 4-series convertible official images leaked

by David Bond

The first official images of the 2014 BMW 4-series Convertible have leaked on the internet recently making it available for all to see.

The company has not revealed the full technical as of now but we expect them to be almost similar to the specifications of its coupe sibling. Talking about performance, engine options will include a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that would generate 240 hp (179 kW) and a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that outputs 300 hp (224 kW). The latter option should allow the open-top 4-series to achieve the 0-100 kmph (0-62 mph) sprint in around 5.5 seconds and will come with a top speed which would be electronically limited at 250 kmph (155 mph).

Talking about the designing and the features, the exteriors are not expected to change much as the design would mostly be similar to the style of the coupe albeit with a retractable metal roof. The 2014 BMW 4-series Convertible is expected to be unveiled at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show this year.

We can expect more details about the model to be out soon and as the launch period comes nearer, till then we will have to wait for further details of this BMW 4-series Convertible.
